A FEW LINES TO INTRODUCE YOU TO OUR COMPANY

It was the summer of 2007 that a young Florida boy decided to use his new bike to gather discarded cans as a school eco project.  To make them re-useable, he recruited his Grandfather, a retired entrepreneur, for help.  After a few months of trial and errors, they came up with a procedure to insulate votive candles inside of his recycling cans.  They added labels with a touch of humor and the famous FLORIDA HURRICANE LAMP was born.  Our product line has grown to six FUN ITEMS.  Please visit our PRODUCTS page for details. The boy is now designing a special one for our troops protecting us overseas.  


                                                A FEW NOTES FROM OUR NOW 12 YEAR OLD CEO

People smile when they read our labels and buy them for FUN GIFTS.  When the candles burn down, they just insert another votive candle and our CANdle is used over and over.  Some of our customers use them for fund raising and some are collectors.  Gift shops and souvenir shops are having fun selling our products. We even get orders from restaurants and businesses who want them with personalized labels.

The down side is starting a business during a recession but, Grandpap did it during the terrible recession of 1957 and hung in there until things picked up.  He taught me to NEVER run from a problem in business;  just solve it.  We solved some problems together and his advice works.
